Sixth Edition of State Award for Young Creators Announced

The Ministry of Culture has announced the sixth edition of the State Award for Young Creators, a nationwide competition celebrating artistic and scientific talent among children and youth aged five to 18, under the slogan “Your creativity is your imprint in the world, let us discover it together.”. Organised by the Supreme Council of Culture under the patronage of Entissar El-Sisi, Egypt’s First Lady, the initiative encourages young participants to submit entries in literature, visual arts, music, theatre, and scientific innovation. Applications remain open until December 31st, 2025. The award aims to empower Egypt’s next generation of creators and innovators by providing national recognition, mentorship, and opportunities to exhibit their work through cultural institutions. According to the Ministry, the programme forms part of Egypt’s broader cultural development strategy, which seeks to make creativity accessible to youth across all governorates and foster participation in the country’s growing artistic landscape.
