The Riyadh Region Municipality has announced the launch of 'Riyadh Volunteers Day' on December 8th, an initiative that will see volunteers carry out environmental and field work across neighbourhoods in the capital. The programme aims to enhance the urban landscape and contribute to quality-of-life improvements aligned with Vision 2030.
The initiative is designed to attract wide participation from across the city’s sectors. Government agencies in education, health, environment, security and military fields will take part alongside private-sector companies, non-profit organisations and media institutions. By encouraging broad engagement, the municipality aims to strengthen community involvement in city upkeep and environmental stewardship.
