Amr Adib to Host Talk on Takween With Abdullah Rushdi & Islam Behairy

Reporter Amr Adib has announced ongoing preparations for a debate between Sheikh Abdullah Rushdi, a scholar at the Ministry of Awqaf, and Islam Behairy, a member of the Takween initiative, on his show, ‘El Hekaya’. The debate will revolve around the Takween initiative and the controversies surrounding it.
The Takween initiative is a recently formed group of scholars who are dedicated to debating multiple topics of interest in Islam. The group has faced public backlash since their announcement.
Abdullah Rushdi, expressed his readiness on X (formerly known as Twitter), writing, "Amr Adib suggested my name for a dialogue with Takween, and Islam Behairy expressed his readiness. I am also ready whenever the time is set for it, God willing." Amr Adib responded to Abdullah Rashdi's post, welcoming him and expressing that they will prepare for the session and schedule it soon.
