UAE-Based A47 Raises $2M to Build AI-Native News Platform
Web3 startup A47 has secured $2 million in pre-seed funding to develop an AI-native platform focused on verified news delivery.
A47, a UAE-based Web3 AI-native news platform, has raised $2 million in pre-seed funding to accelerate development of a system designed to prioritise clarity, accuracy, and relevance in news delivery. The round was led by a group of institutional and angel investors, the company said.
Co-founded by Ali Rizvi and Shehab Gargash, A47 positions itself as a long-term media infrastructure platform addressing challenges posed by fragmented information ecosystems, misinformation, and engagement-driven algorithms. The company aims to deliver structured, continuously updated coverage across business, geopolitics, technology, finance, sports, and culture.
The platform is being built to offer users a high degree of control over how they consume news, allowing them to tailor topics, depth, formats, and alerts. Users can choose between real-time updates, contextual analysis, concise summaries, or comparative perspectives, depending on their needs.
At the technical level, A47 relies on autonomous AI agents, real-time data ingestion, multi-model orchestration, and embedded verification systems to source, analyse, validate, and present information in a consistent and standardised format. The company says these systems are designed to support accuracy and reliability rather than maximise engagement.
