ADI Chain Secures $50 Million to Expand Sovereign Blockchain Network

ADI Chain, an institutional Layer-2 blockchain developed by the ADI Foundation, has secured a $50 million strategic investment to accelerate the expansion of blockchain infrastructure for governments, financial institutions and enterprises.

According to the foundation, the funding will be used to strengthen network infrastructure, expand its ecosystem, introduce developer incentives and support additional institutional integrations.

Designed for regulated institutional use, ADI Chain serves as the network for DDSC, a UAE dirham-pegged stablecoin developed through a collaboration between First Abu Dhabi Bank, International Holding Company (IHC) and Sirius International Holding.

The foundation said the blockchain is focused on supporting public sector digital infrastructure and enterprise applications rather than consumer-focused cryptocurrency services. Current deployments include institutional payment infrastructure, government digital transformation initiatives and the FIFA World Cup Prediction Market.
