Lights, Camera Brunch! ft. Love Imagined
Love Imagined’s Ahmed El Saadany, Mayan El Sayed, Omar Rozik, and director Sara Rozik have brunch and spill tea at GFF.
Love Imagined: lights, camera… brunch. A musical, a comedy, a love story, and a directorial debut, all before noon. We caught up with the cast and director of Love Imagined, Ahmed El Saadany, Mayan El Sayed, Omar Rozik, and Sara Rozik, where it quickly became clear that everyone had feelings about that “Mayan Mayouna” catchphrase.
In the World Premiere of her striking debut, Rozik dives into the messy, beautiful intersections of love and grief, weaving together the lives of a college student, a heartbroken woman, and a reclusive professor, all proof that love, imagined or not, rarely follows the script.
