La Fabrique is a New Space for Artists in Riyadh

Saudi Arabia and France have announced a cultural collaboration that will see the opening of a new artistic space in Riyadh's JAX District aimed at fostering creative exchange between local and international artists. Named La Fabrique, the multidisciplinary arts venue officially opens on January 22nd.

The space is intended to provide a dedicated environment for artists to create, experiment, and present work across a variety of mediums, including performance, immersive digital art, photography, music, cinema, cuisine, and poetry. La Fabrique serves not only as a venue to showcase creative production but also serve as a platform for collaboration and artistic dialogue between Saudi and French creators.

The collaboration is between Riyadh Art, a public art project started in 2019 by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, and the French Institute in Saudi Arabia. The project aligns with broader efforts under Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 agenda to expand cultural infrastructure and position Riyadh as an international hub for the arts, and reflects ongoing cultural cooperation between Saudi and French institutions.
