CineGouna Launches New Arab TV Series Development Program
CineGouna Series is here to support original Arab TV series projects with mentorship, industry access and pitching support.
El Gouna Film Festival just launched a new program, 'CineGouna Series', committed to supporting original Arab TV series through development opportunities and market connections.
Led by screenwriter and producer Mariam Naoum ('Khalli Balak min Zizi'), this six-week online program provides selected projects with pitching support, mentorship, and direct access to producers, broadcasters, streaming platforms and industry professionals. CineGouna is a creative hub designed to bring together brilliant minds with cinematic markets.
It offers a varied range of programs meant to help emerging professionals find artistic and financial support, with the ultimate mission of empowering Egyptian and Arab filmmakers.
CineGouna’s other brands include CineGouna Funding, CineGouna Forum, CineGouna Market, CineGouna Emerge, and CineGouna Shorts. Submissions for the new CineGouna Series are now open at the link in @gff’s Instagram bio, with a deadline of June 30th, 2026.
