Azimuth Music Festival is Returning to Saudi’s AlUla September 21-22
Non-stop dancing from sunset to sunrise in the mystical desert landscape of AlUla
Azimuth Festival returns to Saudi Arabia’s oasis city of AlUla this September, where it will yet again fall hand-in-hand with the Saudi National Day weekend celebrations.
The music festival will be held in Wadi AlFann, or ‘Valley of the Arts’, in AlUla’s desert, which has been curated as a new global cultural destination for contemporary art. Festival goers will have exclusive access to creative installations and performing artists spread throughout the canyon.
Music is set to start from sunset Thursday, September 21st until sunrise on September 22nd. The lineup will still be released in July according to the festival’s page, and will include both new and returning artists.
In 2022, festival goers were treated with the performances of both regional and international acts including Austrian artist Parov Stelar, UK’s Solskin, Egyptian spinners Disco Misr, Jeddah’s Cosmicat, and the one and only Jason Derulo.
“I just believe that a couple of years from now this is gonna be the biggest thing on the planet,” Jason Derulo said in a promotional video by AlUla Moments.
Aside from the music, Azimuth is treating festival goers to stylish retail pop-ups and food truck favourites, as well as ‘chic lounges’ and ‘luxury pampering stations’.
