Saudi Arabia Triumphs at World Camel Endurance Championship
Divided into two stages of 8 kilometers each, the endurance of both camels and riders was tested over the course of the grueling 16-kilometer race.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia secured first place at the inaugural First World Camel Endurance Championship. Held in AlUla and co-organized by the International Camel Racing Federation and the Royal Commission for AlUla, the competition drew participation from jockeys representing 20 countries, showcasing the global appeal of camel racing.
In the men's category, Saudi jockeys secured the top three spots in both the first and second rounds. Further solidifying the Kingdom's triumph, a Saudi woman jockey clinched first place in the women's category.
