Gaza Humanitarian Truce Extended by Two Days
Hamas issued a statement confirming the extension of the truce "under the same conditions established earlier".
Qatar has officially announced the extension of the humanitarian truce for an additional two days. Initially set to expire today, the truce extension comes as a result of negotiations mediated by Qatar and Egypt between Israel and Hamas.
Hamas has issued a statement confirming the continuation of the truce "under the same conditions established earlier." As per the current terms, one hostage held by Hamas is released in exchange for three Palestinians detained in Israel.
The truce has led to the release of 39 Israeli hostages in exchange for 117 Palestinians held in Israeli prisons.
