First Major Ramadan 2024 Market in Dubai Revealed
This year’s Ramadan District will include board games, live performances, and even henna artists.
As Dubai gears up for the Holy Month, one of the largest Ramadan market pop-ups, the Ramadan District at Plaza Terrace near Jumeirah Emirates Towers, is making a return for its second season. With the Holy Month slated to commence on Monday, March 11th, the Ramadan District is set to open its doors daily from Friday, March 15th, until Thursday, April 4th.
Brisk, La Baguette de l’Entrecôte, and Zaroob are among the first food stalls revealed for this year’s market, which will be situated adjacent to an al fresco Ramadan Majlis area at Jumeirah Emirates Towers for Iftar and Suhoor.
To keep visitors entertained, regular stage performances, as well as a variety of activities such as board games, interactive games, arts and crafts and cooking classes will be available. Henna and calligraphy artists will also set up stalls alongside face painters within the expansive market space.
In 2023, the area near the Museum of the Future underwent a vibrant transformation into a bustling market during Ramadan, featuring an array of stalls and snacks available from sunset until dawn. Organisers FLTRD and M2L have now opened invitations for brands and concepts to register for this year’s edition.
