Egypt's Ministry of Health Receives EGP 354 Million to Aid Gazans
1,402 Palestinians have been treated in 34 Egyptian hospitals, while 824 patients have been referred to third-party countries.
Egypt's Ministry of Health and Population stated that the total estimated value of donations made to aid Gazans, originating from Arab and foreign governments, international organizations, civil society and the private sector, has surpassed EGP 354 million.
The ministry revealed that since the commencement of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, 23,400 cases have been assessed at the Rafah border crossing. Out of these, 1,402 Palestinian patients have received treatment in 34 Egyptian hospitals, while an additional 824 patients have been referred to third-party countries after receiving initial medical care in Egypt.
More than 22,000 medical services have been provided to Palestinians entering through the Rafah border crossing, and surgical interventions have been successfully conducted for 893 cases.
