Dubai has unveiled the establishment of the Dubai Council, a new initiative aimed at directing the emirate's future trajectory towards sustained growth and innovation.
Chaired by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, the council's mandate encompasses priorities such as global competitiveness, quality of life enhancement, and oversight of major development projects, reaffirming Dubai's position as a global hub for commerce and tourism.
In a move that underscores the breadth of expertise within the council, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, assumes the role of first vice chairman, alongside Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, as the second vice chairman.
