First WATERBOMB Festival in Dubai Headlined by K-pop Sensation CL
K-pop stars like CL, pH-1 and Big Naughty will take over Dubai on June 7th and the 8th.
The first WATERBOMB Festival in Dubai is set to make a splash with an electrifying musical lineup featuring South Korean stars CL, pH-1, and Big Naughty. Taking place at Dubai Festival City on June 7th and the 8th, the event will feature an eclectic mix of EDM, hip-hop and K-pop performances.
Headlining the festival is CL, renowned as the former leader of K-pop sensation 2NE1, who carved her path as a solo artist, making history by becoming the first South Korean female artist to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 with solo hits like ‘The Baddest Female’ and ‘MTBD’. She has also been recognized for her contributions to music and fashion, having earned accolades such as inclusion in Time's list of 100 Most Influential People in the World, reaffirming her status as a cultural trendsetter.
Other acts include pH-1, known for his versatility as a rapper, singer, and songwriter, gaining fame through appearances on the South Korean hip-hop competition Show Me the Money. Big Naughty - another rapper who rose to prominence following his standout performances on reality TV show High School Rapper 3 - will also make an appearance.
South Korea’s WATERBOMB Festivals are known for their water-themed fun, offering attendees a refreshing escape from the summer heat. Participants are encouraged to have swimwear as they engage in water fights using water guns and balloons. Tickets for the event start at AED 150.
